Ferias and Fiestas in Vejer de la Frontera
Many ferias and fiestas take place each year including Carnaval in February, Semana Santa processions at Easter, running with the bulls at the Toro Embolao on Easter Sunday, the Spring Feria, Feria de Primavera just after Easter and then in August a two week festival in honour of Vejer’s Patron Saint, Nuestra Senora de la Oliva.
The Beaches of Vejer de la Frontera
At El Palmar beach, 10 kms from Vejer and between Trafalgar and Roche, you will find 12 kms of beautiful fine golden sand beach. The beaches at Los Canos de Meca are surrounded by pine forests, cliffs and deep blue seas.
